A video of a pool party in Texas shows a police officer acting improperly with a 15-year-old girl. The seven-minute video, which was aired on YouTube, documents Cpl. Eric Casebolt using profane language and aggressively throwing the girl to the ground. While she lay on the ground Casebolt pinned her down with his knees.
“He was just aggressive for no reason at all,” said Tatyana Rhodes, one of the party’s organizers.
Rhodes reported the incident started with a fight between a woman and herself, which prompted the police to be called. When the authorities arrived they discovered juveniles were in attendance, fighting, and refusing to leave.
Rhodes said when police showed up, the kids were startled and began running.
In the video captured by another 15-year-old, Brandon Brooks, Casebolt appears to be cursing at the kids and trying to round them up. Tensions escalated and he pulled a gun.
Since the video went viral, McKinney police have had to call in additional dispatchers to field phone calls from residents demanding Casebolt to be fired.
