Here’s some interesting news for recent Las Vegas high school grads: A local strip club has an offer for you if financial aid at your college of choice isn’t an option for you.
An advertisement overlooking Interstate 15 near Charleston Boulevard for the strip club, Little Darlings, is offering “positions” for recent graduates.
“Now auditioning the class of 2015,” one sign reads. “Pay your way through college,” suggests another. Thousands of high schoolers, who will be graduating this week in the Clark County School District, are the targets of this ad campaign.
The manager of the strip club, Alan Hama, said he wasn’t part of the decision to appeal to the grads as marketing ideas often come from the company’s other properties throughout the country, which include Seattle, San Francisco and San Diego, as well as several clubs on the East Coast.
Hama was asked if the ads are leading to an uptick in the number of young people applying.
“Not necessarily more than normal,” he replied.
